How can I change my life

Every change starts from the desire to do something different – good job! – Give yourself a credit. You have reached for this information which means you are ready to take changes in your life. Usually the most difficult thing is to acknowledge that we need a change at all. Take a look for your life. All that you see is coming into your inside world. Our outside world is just a mirrored inside world. I will explain this more deeply.

To explore your inner world the first step is to take a deep inventory: what are your beliefs, habits, ways of thinking and vision of life. Take paper and pen and write everything down you will discover how all these factors have created your current life. Our body is a one-to-one reflection of our habits regarding nutrition, exercise, self-care, hygiene, etc. However our mental state reflecting our relationship with money and abundance, emotional well-being and the quality of relationships.

There are only few thing in our life that we cannot control: the weather, other people’s fears, desires, feelings, other vision of us and the behavior of the people around us. However we can always control how we behave towards other people and how we react to circumstances beyond our control. It is also possible to shape our attitude towards the surrounding world in such way that it will support our mental well-being. Here are some points to start with:

  1. Write down everything that bothers you about your life
  2. Find out what are the factors behind your life right now, what habits or beliefs you notice in yourself that prevent you from making changes in your life
  3. Write down the activities that you could do to make life better and happier
  4. Make a plan how to implement these activities in your daily life
  5. Try to notice that your inner speech is always positive and supportive
  6. Share joy and positivity in the world, say a good word to a stranger or support your friends business
  7. Be productive during work, but switch off when you’re resting – otherwise you just waste your time
  8. Try to make your reactions and attitudes more neutral, don’t give away your energy to pseudo problems that are not your responsibility at all e.g. what happens in traffic
  9. Don’t watch the news or rather watch it less, mainly the information reflected in the news is fear-based, negative and rather unnecessary information – believe me, important information will reach you anyway

Remember that changes take time and the most important thing is to be consistent, keep your vision and if necessary use support to learn how to manage your inner world.
